Habits

I’m trying to get rid of habits; the bad ones and it’s not been an easy task. I will take the steps I need to overcome them and probably post on them continually.  .. That means I’m adding a new category – Growing Good Habits. Before I go on,  I will list the habits I think need fixing not like I don’t have any good one, but writing and sharing helps you to better discipline yourself.
♤ The most outrageous of the habits is Nail biting – this started as a child and I’ve never really gotten rid of it (so,  advice to mums,  nip your child’s dirty habit/s in the bud). I need closure from that,  lol.  Our long upstanding relationship must come to an end.
♤ Financial discipline (lol) spend according to budget (I don’t believe I’m ever broke so maybe that’s my problem – not like I’m not cash strapped,  I just don’t consider myself broke) and learning to live on a budget, I think I’m a shopaholic so anytime I’m in a foul mood,  I just go a buying + I need to kick start my business.
♤ There this one that bothers me,  the fact that I can keep secrets for others or just keep their private lives private and I get to blab mine to any Tom, Dick and Harry – this is a tough one especially since I’m meant to guard my heart with all diligence. It just recently started to affect me, and I guess it’s because I created the mindset that I shouldn’t have anything that anyone can hold against me and now it comes to bite me.
♤ Then the little things like withdrawing from people,  the inability to trust again,  being so closed up all the time – mostly to deal with my emotions.
It pays me to be completely honest with myself so I can confidently deal with these issues. I can’t wait to record my progress level.
