JOURS SEPT: Where you are in your life vs. where you thought you would be at this point

Before I go on, let me illustrate with this:

Proverbs 16:1 NLT
We can make our own plans, but the L ord gives the right answer.

I have so many plans, written them down but the counsel of the Lord stands always in my life. So I left him to order my steps despite the many plans I have. I will like to talk about my future in relation to my faith but there’s a day for that.

Before I graduated, I put in my year book that I wanted to be successful 5 years from then. From 2009 till now, there are so my things I wanted to do e.g. Get a great job, finish masters, travel out and live there but these plans were altered; in place of these I was jobless for a long time, I finally got jobs that I wasn’t receiving pay from, I’ve lost out on travel opportunities but in all, I’m thankful because where I am now is a learning process and I’m glad most of my milestones haven’t been met.

There are so many things I’m thankful for, the many experiences I got from different phases in my life. I’m better off. I know my future is in God’s hands, I’m done contesting that with Him.
To be honest, I can’t be more successful than I am now. I’m touching lives in ways I didn’t even imagine. For that I’m eternally grateful.

So there’s my answer, see you on Day 8. Express you in the comment box.
Stay in God. Peace, love, bisou bisou
