JOURS TROIS: Describe a moment or a day when being single was really awesome

Day 2

Oh my daze!!! Let’s gerrit on – lol, today is one of those awesome days. I mentioned something Here about how I loved to do things for others but I’m going to contradict myself by saying that I am so selfish sometimes I surprise myself too. Before I’m crucified, let me explain – I am such an impulsive person, everything about me is based on impulse; something the significant other might have to deal with when he comes. That being said, the ability to make some decisions based on impulse is one of the reasons why being single is awesome.

Today, I had fun, didn’t go anywhere, reported to no one, if asked how my day went, I made the decision on whether or not I wanted to answer that, it’s called INDEPENDENCE

In responding to impulse, if I have a thought about kissing someone full on the mouth, I go ahead and indulge, if I tell myself I must buy that phone in 20 seconds without even considering the pros and cons, I go ahead with it. If I’ve decided to go out, and my legs forget to carry me, that outing is done – that’s why I call myself selfish because I cannot be moved by what people feel most times as opposed to how I feel.

I love me time, a lot. I love making decisions on my own more, having to run them by someone else sometimes is a bit of a burden; that is not to say, I won’t learn when I have to. It’s just better most times to carry your own burden as I have learnt how to do; and the thing is I enjoy it. The good thing about it too is I enjoy change and can change my thinking as often times as I can change my clothes. It’s the thrill of independence, and I have broken relationships just because I felt dependent on someone else – I hate the feeling of being trapped and I will rather choose the edge of the seat than any other. The only person I’m a Slave to is Christ.

So there’s my answer, see you on Day 4. Express you in the comment box.
Stay in God. Peace, love, bisou bisou
